I made screens of the conversation so I can prove this really happened, but honestly the last place I would expect to find these kinds of chatbots was on PSN.UPDATE: Screenshots of how you can recognize a bot profile, it's real easy! I actually got my first spambot message on PSN over this past weekend.

Chatroulette was created in 2009 by a 17 year old kid who ran the site out of his bedroom in his parent’s home.Hi, what I am trying to do is: Get 5 colours, each one from a random pixel in webcam video. The problem is I don't want the webcam video to be visible in the sketch window.I'm attempting to make the visuals for an art installation I'm working on, and I'm not quite sure how to go about it in Processing. Here's what I would like to do (I'll be using an old CCTV monitor): (I can always fix the webcam to one of the fourths of the screen and load random videos onto the other 3 available quadrants, if it simplifies things.) My Processing skills are quite basic; so far I've managed to split the screen in 4 and load 4 videos, but I honestly don't know how to work with a video array, which sounds like the more reasonable way for the program to do what I would like it to. The videos will always be accessible, but only a selection will be displayed.(NOTE: This is a work in progress, and should not be used for mission critical applications like protecting nuclear secrets or shuffling poker decks.

That said, preliminary testing has shown that, even at this early stage, we're generating good random numbers!

Users have to register and agree to the terms of service and violators will be filtered by the sites moderators.

A random number generator that uses your webcam's CCD noise as an entropy source.

But just like the manufacturer was lazy, the consumer is also lazy. Just because it was easy to get in does not mean that you should do it.

What you just did is arguably immoral, and probably illegal.

The company boasts that users produce a combined 5 million minutes of airtime per day.
